General Meaning of the Whole Spread
The general (positive or negative, strong or weak) meaning of the whole combination. Regard it as a peculiar coefficient; the predicted events must be multiplied or divided by it.
* Positive overall combination means that your own inner or some outer forces protect you, and you are able to deal with the most serious problems on your own. You are at the height of your opportunities; therefore, this period is favorable for creative activity.
* Negative combination is not a final judgment. The cards are just telling you that you ought to be more careful, to slow down and concentrate on the recovery of your spiritual and physical balance. A weak or unfavorable reading often means only habitual flow of your life without troubles or drastic changes. Possibly, the negative nature of the reading is caused by your tiredness and exhaustion owing to daily routine.
Personal Information
Your gender, age, marital status is also very important for fortune telling. The specific meanings of cards are directly related to these characteristics. Make sure that the personal information (you enter it on the main toolbar of CArTomancy) is correct. Even a small disparity in years is sometimes significant for accurate interpretation.
Cards of the Same Value or Suit
The presence of a certain number of cards with the same value or suit in your spread.
At the beginning of both Professional and Quick Reference Card Reading, you will see if such combinations are present in the current spread.
Interpret the separate cards in your reading in the light of the above- mentioned same value or suit combinations.
For example, the presence of four aces and four tens (business success) may reflect the general impact of your job on your life. In other words, there is a strong possibility that even a new romantic acquaintance will be bound up with your professional activity.
Position and Neighbor Cards
Another significant factor is the position of a card in the current combination and what cards are its neighbors (surrounding, preceding and following it in the process of card reading.)
Sometimes the mere presence of a certain card, along with the card in question, in your combination matters, even if they are not neighbors.
Comments
In the text of your interpretation, inside parentheses and asterisks (**), you can find comments, explaining the reasons for a particular piece of your interpretation. E.g. (*Position: Upper left corner*) means that the following sentence(s) (till the next comments) is valid only because the current card is located in the upper left corner of the spread.
Notes
* In most cases, the specific meanings of cards (in the final text of the reading) are determined by a whole series of causes, influencing the result.
* These factors also have different priorities, some of which are much more significant than the rest.
* Just as the way a good fortune-teller tries to choose the most essential information from the numerous combinations of cards in your reading, CArTomancy also analyzes the most important and urgent events in your life (of course, if they show themselves through the cards).
* Therefore, do not be surprised when practically identical combinations suddenly result in quite different interpretations, and utterly diverse combinations entail twin readings. It is OK.
* From the outset, CArTomancy is directed towards your, not somebody elses personality. The mere generalization is useless, because each person is individuality.

Its interpretations are not as concrete and clear, as those of Quick Reference Card Reading, but here is its main advantage. Professional Reading better reflects the general power balance in your life and stimulates your creative and analytical abilities.
The main disadvantage of Professional Card Reading is somewhat fuzzy analysis of personalities (both yours and other peoples). Not all predicted qualities have to be certainly present in a particular person. You have to pick out the most essential qualities yourself. When you want to identify real people, hiding behind symbolical characters in your reading, do not direct your attention to some specific features. You ought to see the mood, general picture.
Technical Details
The following picture shows the order in which the cards are drawn from the deck during Professional Card Reading. The order of cards interpretation is the same. E. g. if a card number is 4, then the previous card number is 3 and the next card number is 5 correspondingly. Each card is situated in a special position (e. g. "Upper Left Corner", "Center" in the whole spread). The position is often mentioned in the comments and is very important for card reading in general.

Dealing Cards
To read the cards in Quick Reference CArTomancy Card Reading you need 36 cards deck, from aces to sixes (aces, kings, queens, jacks, tens, nines, eights, sevens, and sixes).
Choosing the Significator
The Significator is the central and most important card in the spread, representing you. All other cards are interpreted in relation to the Significator.
Shuffle the deck. After that reveal each triplet of cards, one after another, until you find the card representing you. Pay attention to the meanings of other two cards in this triplet. They are related to your present circumstances.

Dealing the Cards
Drawing and Interpreting the Under Heart Card
Now ask yourself the question "What will happen?"(or similar) in your mind and randomly draw one card from the deck. Put it under the Significator, "Under Your Heart". This card tells you what is the most important for your heart. While interpreting this card, use the general cards interpretation as well as some special meanings:
Picture-card A person who thinks of you or remembers you.
Any Jack Bustle and cares.
Queen of Spades Boredom and depression.
Ten or Eight of Spades You are anxious about somebody's illness or
indisposition.
Seven of Spades Troubles.
Six of Spades A loss or disappearance.
Ace of Spades A nuisance.
Ace of Clubs A failure in business.
Ace of Diamonds A letter.
Ace of Hearts A parcel or a piece of news.
Nine or Ten of Diamonds A receipt of money.
Nine or Ten of Hearts Great joy lies ahead of you.
Dealing the Rest of the Cards
Do not shuffle the deck. Put the deck above your card (the Significator) and leave about a quarter of the deck there. Then put the deck below your card and also leave about a quarter of the deck there.
After that put the deck to the left of the Significator and to the right of it, leaving about a quarter of the deck everywhere.
Then take the pile above your card and put the two upper cards above the Significator, face up. Take the second pile (below your card) and put it on the first pile (in your hand). Take the two upper cards from the new combined pile and put them beneath the Significator. Repeat that for the left and the right piles.
Do not shuffle the deck. Now take each upper pair of cards from the rest of the deck (successively) and put them to
* the upper left corner
* the bottom left corner
* the upper right corner
* the bottom right corner
Thus now there are 16 cards around the Significator.
Shuffle the rest of the cards. Discard the three upper cards, put the fourth card on the Significator ("On Your Heart"). Repeat this till the end of the deck. Now there should be four cards on the Significator.

Interpreting the General Meaning of the Spread
First of all, check the general (favorable or unfavorable) meaning of the spread, the presence of four cards of the same value or all cards of the same suit in your reading.
Interpreting the Cards
Cards in your reading must be interpreted in the proper order (see Technical details). Each group of cards represents a particular period of time.
